We love beer.
We love it because it tastes good and makes us feel better.
We also love that the very best of beers need not cost the earth. The finest wines may be delicious, but they can cost thousands. Beer is democratic, and always has been through its rich history.
There is a theory promulgated by folks who have read more books than we have. It runs that man invented agriculture in ancient Sumeria not to feed himself, but to grow grain crops to make beer. This theory would suggest that beer lies at the very root of civilisation. Who are we to disagree?
At the Draft House we love to source, cellar and pour the very best beer. And hear a story or two along the way.
